• Hari Devan, RVT

  Hari Devan is a registered veterinary technician who has been with us for little under three years. He is currently working on becoming a fully licensed veterinarian himself and we believe he will make an exemplary vet. Hari is a key member of Second Chance, our in-house small animal rescue and not only assists in the care of the animals but documents their recovery via vlogs. We're certain that our patients would agree that Hari's upbeat attitude and belly rubs are their favourite part of the visit and he treats each and every animal that comes into our practice like they are his own.
  
  Hari has a boxer mix and rescue cat at home that are permanent roommates, but frequently opens his home to strays and injured animals. His fiancé has the patience of a saint and accepts even the strangest fosters - including a litter of squirrels.

  Unbeknownst to Hari, he is descended from a very long and very esteemed line of hunters of the supernatural. Generations of devotion to the cause and experimentation bred certain supernatural traits into the bloodline including heightened senses, fine-tuned motor skills and more. Their blood is unappetizing to vampires and they are so difficult to infect with lycanthropy it's almost unheard of... but it's possible.
  
  Being an alpha of near-pristine pedigree, Serj's bite proved infectious. To his parents and extended family this is an abomination. The infection bonded with Hari in a way no one could have predicted - a mutation of sorts. While he makes a rather runty werewolf he makes up for it in other, arguably more substantial ways: Hari is a seer and psychokinetic. These attributes don't tend to manifest voluntarily, his clairvoyant episodes are sporadic and without warning, and his psychokinesis is largely ruled by his emotions. It's hard to lie and say he's not angry when all the jars on the counter shatter. The trade-off is these abilities cannot be used while in wolf form, and every time he changes his body involuntarily fights it making it a very painful process.
  
  Having been made well aware that what he is is an affront to both his family and other supernaturals (especially werewolves), Hari is very hush-hush about it. Should any of his non-werewolf abilities be revealed to anyone other than Serj or Levi Hari will play it off as something else. If asked, he will shut them down. Should he be so unlucky that he comes across someone who recognizes his very particular scent of Asur Khoji and werewolf he will make himself as scarce as possible. Plain and simple, he is very private about it.
